The Beacon Light Baptist Church of Houma, LA  is a word and love-centered ministry designed to evangelize the lost at any cost, equip and empower the people of God, and provide five-star ministry to our community as well as the world.



Endeavoring to minister to the total man, we are a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural ministry impacting a hurting world with the love of Jesus Christ. We are committed to the spirit of excellence, as we are striving to become an oasis of hope within the Houma, Tri-Parish community and nation by promoting and providing education, empowerment, as well as financial independence.



We embrace freedom in worship because the Word says, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.”  Our foundation is the Word of God and we believe it in its entirety.
